‘Ah… Amaterasu. Origin of all that is good and mother to us all… Sealed away by the dark forces, I have spent years in this cave. Time passed, but I was unable to make my way to freedom. But now, your power has lifted the curse that plagued me. I, Moegami, god of flames, lend you my power. Burn a new source of light into the obscuring darkness!’

This image of the Celestial Brush God Moegami from the popular video game Okami, is hand burnt into a natural piece of Ash roughly 10×15 inches. It is coloured with watercolour, and sealed with a generous layer of Plasti-Kote, protecting it against weather and UV damage, to keep the image from fading.

This piece took roughly 6 hours from start to finish, and was a labour of love.

This comes with a clear stand, so it can be displayed upright on a flat surface, but also has two sets of wall hooks on the back for hanging on a wall.

If you require any more information about this piece, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
